My Mosaic Journey
Captivated by the majestic seascapes of the Outer Hebrides and the Isle of Skye my journey as a mosaic artist began after a family adventure to Eriskay. It was whilst on Bonny Prince Charlie beach that I started to collect tiny, perfectly formed fragments of beautiful sea urchin shells. These shells made up the border of my first ever mos
Captivated by the majestic seascapes of the Outer Hebrides and the Isle of Skye my journey as a mosaic artist began after a family adventure to Eriskay. It was whilst on Bonny Prince Charlie beach that I started to collect tiny, perfectly formed fragments of beautiful sea urchin shells. These shells made up the border of my first ever mosaic that hangs in my garden today. I now make bespoke, indoor, and outdoor mosaics that are inspired by the glorious natural world around me.

My inspiration for crafting these mosaic pieces stems from my admiration of the natural world
that surrounds me. Taking a mindful moment to appreciate flourishing habitats, blooming meadows and captivating colours makes me stop, take notice and connect with nature, if only for one fleeting moment.

Engaging with nature enhances our wellbeing and mood so with this in mind I wanted to bring the beauty of the outdoors indoors. This is my way of capturing a snapshot of the glorious colour that nature displays giving others their mindful moment
even on the dullest of days.

All of my mosaics are hand crafted by myself and made to order. I cut the glass by hand with glass nippers. This way I can work with tiny pieces of glass to create intricate detail to each carefully crafted mosaic. No piece of glass is ever the same, so every mosaic will always be slightly different.
